Cozy room with great mountain views.

this lodge has potential, but alas, basic amenities were lacking. a dirty towel with a blood stain in our bathroom and an unpleasant smell upon entering was a great welcome. honestly, I expected a room upgrade as compensation for such horrors, but I guess that's just not their style. almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

The West Coast Trail Lodge offered a clean and modern room that met all my needs for a work stay. I appreciated the reasonable price and the proximity to local eateries, particularly the nearby pub with its excellent mussels. The landscaped grounds provided a pleasant spot to unwind after a long day. Enjoying the mountain views from my room was a highlight of my visit.
The internet connection was weak, making it difficult to stream or browse.

The West Coast Trail Lodge impressed me with its cleanliness and comfort. The room was spacious with a cozy vibe, featuring nice amenities like a microwave and fridge. I appreciated that the bathroom had plenty of hot water and a good-sized shower. The location was great for accessing the Juan de Fuca trail, and the nearby Renfrew Pub served delicious meals, especially the mussels. However, I found the fridge in our room unusually noisy and couldn't sleep with it running. Additionally, the kitchenette setup was confusing. we had a toaster but no available power outlets in the kitchen area. I had to find creative solutions to plug in our appliances. Since it was a bit isolated, dining options were limited, especially mid-week. These small inconveniences didn't overshadow the beauty of the area or the quality of our stay, but they are worth noting for future visitors.

Family with children coziness
We really enjoyed the cozy feeling of our room, the beds were super comfy and the mini-fridge was a lifesaver for storing all our snacks. Plus, the view from the deck was amazing, we spent hours just relaxing and taking in the scenery, it felt like we were part of the wilderness, quite the contrast from our usual routine.
It wasn't exactly cheap but it was still acceptable for the experience we had.
